AI can help employers identify and remove bias during the interview process, screen candidates based on specific requirements, interact with candidates via catboats and assess candidate responses during video interviews.

Reinvention of the interview: New tools,

New techniques, including job auditions, casual and video interviews, will continue to improve this section of recruitment. In addition, measuring the compatibility of the candidates with the corporate culture before and during interviews will implement itself even further.

Virtual Hiring

One of the more obvious and consistent changes across the board in the majority of job fields is the use of virtual hiring and remote working. The pandemic showed the need for hiring to be done remotely.

Focusing on Mental Health

A growing trend in the recruiting industry and the job market is for potential hires to ask about mental health benefits. Providing employees with tools and resources to support their mental health is beneficial for everyone involved as a healthy and happy employee is a productive employee.

 

As a leading telecommunication company in Sri Lanka, ABC’s entire Human Resources process was digitized, and an online application for external recruitment was introduced, along with online interviews and placements for interns. In addition, all promotion procedures were digitized, and a plan is in place to introduce an online examination for recruitment.

  1. Since recruitment is an important part to the organization, many hiring managers are more focus on new trends. Specially due to the pandemic they are more focus on virtual recruitment platform.
    Although we're still navigating these uncertain times, HR leaders who want their organizations to keep a competitive advantage when it comes to attracting top talent need to start thinking about the challenges that will come in a post-pandemic scenario.
